一直想深入学习一下Linux系统的定制，不过一直没有找到切入点，现在，我觉得可以开始了。

我有一些计算机和Linux、Puppy Linux的使用经验，准备学习一下Puppy Linux之父Barry Kauler的woof定制轻量级LiveCD的过程。想定制一款下面这样的一款LiveCD。不知道woof能否满足需求？或者Puppy本身就能满足需求？相对来说，哪个更合适，为什么？希望征询一下中文Puppy Linux开发者之家各位朋友的一点建议。

0124:重建了所有菜单，与原quirky的菜单几乎完全一致；而且与原Quirky的菜单完全独立，不再存在切回JWM图标修正的问题。
解决HAL的规则没有写到UDev目录中不能即时显示设备变动情况的BUG。

是一个压缩文件，在命令行中直接CP到根吧，不做PET包了，还要更改Applications中的快捷方式，反而不如这样方便。解压后进入文件压中运行
cp ./* / -fr
进入桌面：
xwin startxfce4

大家好，我以前未用过linux，但慕名已久，早想尝试一下。由于硬盘不足，近期也不打算买移动硬盘，所以选择在U盘上装puppy。
目前遇到的问题是：退出系统的时候储存pup_save.2fs需要花很多的时间。不知道有什么解决办法吗？现在还是裸机，以后尚准备安装gcc,latex,scilab等软件，关机速度应该还会慢很多吧。可否在U盘上分出/, /home, /usr, /var, /tmp, swap等分区，山寨一个类似其他linux的分区方案。然后将软件用gz包安装，能识别的到这些分区吗？不太理解save.2fs这种关机时需要做大量存盘工作的设计思想。
个人是noob，可能说的很可笑，麻烦大家帮我解惑。谢谢！
