    你在虚拟机里成功不代表你在所有机器里都是成功的。
    你正确的做法应该是取消puppy目录， 将vmlinuz,initrd.gz 都放在根目录里
    然后删除 find 那行。就OK 了，这样你就不用在虚拟机试，双核试，单核试了。
    侥幸在一种环境下启动成功，是不能代表在所有环境下都能成功的。本人对此深有体会。
    甚至是相同的机器配置，在这台能启动，在那台就不能启动

    可以。我的U盘里放了 winpe , puppy , ghostxp ,ubuntu. slitaz ,tiny core linux 2G U盘。 强悍吧。 必须要格式化为FAT。用grub4dos。 具体的，根据你愿意用winpe的iso还是解开的文件有不同的写法，但不管是哪个写法，grub4dos的官网讲解很详细，你照抄官网上给你提供的就可以了。安装grub4dos，puppy的原版就有这个工具在菜单里，你自己找一下

    我用U盘装的grub也运行出错找不到文件，最后在QEMU虚拟机测试成功，方法如下，希望对新人有所帮助.
    第一点，文件名必须修改，注意大小写。
    第二点，pup-431.sfs文件必须放到根目录，其他文件我放到puppy文件下。
    本人的启动脚本奉上。
    title Puppy系统
    rootnoverify (hd0,0)
    find --set-root /Puppy/vmlinuz
    kernel /Puppy/vmlinuz root=/dev/ram0 PMEDIA=usbflash pfix=ram pdev1=sda1
    find --set-root /Puppy/initrd.gz

    是4.6.2。
    这个桌面是我早就已经在用了的，呃，那时4.8还没有发布。
    4.8得等等看看，不知道其中的Xfwm4可不可用，目前的Xfwm双击标题栏会出现错误，所以这个版本里的窗口管理器用的是Openbox。
    而且是4.8中要用到Gvfs，而要达到Gvfs全部功能的话，需要的依赖也比较多。再等等看，如果体积增加不太大的话，将来会集成进来。

    不知道是不是Xfce 4.8呢？
    P.S. Wary不怎么用，如果是Lupu_520就好了。

    请问能把win pe 和puppy 安装在同一个u盘里
    然后按需要选择启动码?

    要怎么设置呢

    用unetbootin 来安装就可以了。 我感觉这里没人推荐用这个。 但是我一直都用这个，不管是不是puppy，用它都搞定了
