在nvidia的mcp73上可以成功启动到桌面，并且声显网卡等都正常。
用同一个TF卡不带硬盘来启动的，也试过用硬盘节俭安装来启动结果相同。
无线大哥请核实一下。
待有时间会在物理机上测试。
不过用原版的lupu，在虚拟机上也是可以创建个人保存文件的。
也许可能是新的内核不喜欢虚拟机？

对了，我没有报告的我测试配置：
虚拟机：VMware® Workstation 7.1.3 build-324285
硬盘IDE8G双分区，都是ext4格式，puppy以精简模式安装在第一分区。在关机选择个人存储文件格式时，如果选择ext2格式，可以走到最后确认是否保存，这时提示的个人存储文件大小是负的1024KB，也就是-1MB；而如果选择ext3格式，则在选择是否压缩后直接提示不保存会话。

我在U盘/硬盘中启动 然后正常关机 并且提示保存，尚未发现你说的问题。

建议不要保留原来的个人文件。
ubuntu有一个致命的问题 就是grub安装在硬盘的mbr上 一旦删除了ubuntu grub就会提示错误
朋友 其实 你这么安装在硬盘有点“多此一举”
原因是 你选择的是简单安装 这种模式最好版 你只要在你的ubuntu的boot/grub/menu.lst中添加一个puppy的启动 并把sfs initrd.gz vmlinuz 都复制到boot下 这样就可以启动了。
真正的安装Linux 需要格式化硬盘为ext2/ext3格式 然后选择 full模式安装 不过这种安装你需要多多熟练了才可以 .
不提示选择磁盘分区，直接要求选择文件格式，并且最后无论是否选择存储，都会出现session not saved的会话不保存的提示，并且不生成个人文件
我查看了/etc/rc.d/rc.shutdown，没有发现与原版的有什么不同，原因不明啊
个人觉得问题出在initrd上，仍在查找中……
发现在最后确认时，提示
size of savefile : -1024kb(-1MB)
也许是我自己的硬盘损坏了？
别的同志们有无这种不能保存会话的情况？
